Use in Demanding Situations Where Whip Antennas Can Break
The STI-CO® rugged low profile line offers a wide variety of antennas that extend no more than 6 inches above the body of the vehicle for use in harsh environments where longer whip antennas would break. These rugged antennas are available in a variety of frequencies. They are an excellent solution to vandalism in high-risk areas and on vehicles frequently exposed to damaging automatic washes. These antennas are also a good alternative to whip antennas on tall emergency vehicles, such as ambulances and fire equipment, that are destroyed when entering parking ramps, garages, or canopy covered hospital emergency areas.
